What does the 4th of July mean to you? Our Nation is not perfect, but I am thankful that I am an American. I truly cannot comprehend what dedication, struggle, and sacrifice it must have taken for our forefathers to declare independence from the British Empire. What would our lives be like had that never occurred? Today, while I enjoy barbecuing with friends, and our annual fire work observation at a local middle school I will remember those that have fought and continue to fight for our freedom.
